Ordinarily the game runs at a smooth 60 fps, but I’m hitting 45 at the lowest and averaging in some spots at around 50. I have implemented a system where the bubblers do not begin producing bubbles until you are a certain distance from them, but this barely made a dent in the overall problem and actually interferes with gameplay in some cases, as they need to be producing bubbles off-screen so that they are ready by the time the player reaches them (they aren’t currently).
